1.
Can I debug a bound application?
No. However, the 4GBIND utility will allow you to take apart a bound
application so that you can debug it.
2.
What versions of WVIDEO are supported?
DOS/4G supports versions 8.5 and up of the Watcom C and FORTRAN
compilers. However, in order to debug your unbound application with
WVIDEO, you must have WVIDEO 9.5a, from the A-level patches to the
WATCOM compilers. WD works fine.
If you have an older version of WVIDEO, we strongly recommend that
you contact WATCOM to upgrade your compiler and tools. The only way
to debug a DOS/4G application with an old version of WVIDEO is to
rename DOS4G.exe to DOS4GW.exe and make sure that it's either in the
current directory or the first DOS4GW.exe on the DOS PATH.
NB: We do not provide support for this configuration.
