Why am I getting a 'Error 2 - File does not exist' error
when I try to update my BIOS?
We don't know, but this seems to happen particularly
to people trying to update an AMI BIOS.
Unfortunately, we didn't write the BIOS upgrade
program, and have never even run it -- we don't have
anything to do with BIOS upgrade programs.
You probably think it is because you are seeing a
Tenberry Software or Rational Systems Copyright when you
run the program.
However, you are seeing our copyright because whoever
wrote your BIOS update program used our DOS extender
to access memory outside of the base 640KB, and NOT
because we had anything to do with writing the program.
You need to contact your BIOS or motherboard vendor directly.
For AMI, try: http://www.ami.com
For a general site with BIOS upgrades for most BIOS's:, try:

First of all, it's not our program.
You probably think it is because you are seeing a
Tenberry Software or Rational Systems Copyright when you

to access memory outside of the base 640KB, and NOT
